Top 5 Defunct Team Liveries

5. Arrows

There are many orange cars in F1's 66 year history, but for my money, Arrows pulled it off the best. I was originally leaning towards the BAR car for the 5 spot, but since it closely resembles another car on this list, I thought it was better to mix things up.

4. Jordan 191

You've probably seen this car in the background of documentaries, highlight reels, and general nostalgic pictures. This car largely flew under the radar since it raced in 1991, which just so happened to be the same year as Michael Schumacher's (get well soon) debut, Senna's third championship, and interestingly enough, the first year f1 games hit the shelves.

3. HRT

While we certainly won't miss it for its pace, HRT knew how to design a livery. Because they didn't have many sponsor colors clashing with theirs, the car looks very coherent from front to back. The diverse combination of color mixed with a bit of stylistic curvature makes for an exceptionally attractive vehicle.

 2. Ligier JS17

French. This car screams 'French'. The Jordan did a good job of representing Ireland's green, but this car takes it's country's colors to another level. For a car that resembles a box, the paintwork on the Ligier JS17 more than makes up for it. It's unapologetic. It's proud. And damn, is it beautiful.

1. Footwork FA14

McLaren lite you say? Maybe so. But for me this forgotten gem of 1993 has the simple yet sleek look perfected. The only part I'd change is the green

*For clarification this list only ranks the liveries, not the car design. I omitted championship winning cars since even though they are defunct, they are still well remembered.
