P7 Perez vs. P3 Bottas
Let's imagine this P7 result was a fluke. Perez had a shaky Q3, and Bottas had mostly clean running. When push comes to shove, these two are going to be compared to each other. Hamilton and Verstappen are the only two with a legitimate shot at the title, so that balance of the constructors lies in the 2nd drivers for both teams. Bottas consistently does enough. Will Perez do the same?
P5 Ocon vs. P7 Ricciardo
At the end of the season, it's very likely the standings will look something like last year's. Three teams within a race's distance of a third-place finish. McLaren have somewhat bungled their advantage this weekend, and Ocon needs to make good on every top-5 finish he can get. Even if things stay as-is, 5 positions above with 10 points on the line is an exceptional long-term result for Alpine.
P16 Tsunoda vs. The Field
The pressure is starting to mount for Yuki as, even in this early stage, expectations are high. Touted as Helmut Marko's newest prodigy, his skills were seemingly undeniable just 6 weeks ago. Yet, after 4 races of information, it seems his entry into Formula One hasn't been as rosy as some of the other high-profile rookies to enter the sport. If Perez is only a short-term option for Red Bull, Tsunoda needs to prove his wrrth sooner rather than later. Especially as Red Bull have more than 6 drivers in the F2/F3 pipeline.
