3 Drivers to Root for This Season

Sometimes.. Motorsport is about more than speed. There's a human aspect to it as well. It's in these moments that we truly get to see who our favorite drivers really are. Without further adieu, here's three drivers you should root for beyond pace reasons

1. Juan Manuel Correa

Recovering from that horrific crash that took Anthoine Hubert's life in 2018 must have been hard enough. Months of relentless care. Traveling to physical therapy through a pandemic. JMC is a fighter. He's the living memory of Anthoine's racing career, and much like we all want to see Michael make a full recovery, Juan Manuel is next on that list. Upwards and onwards when he makes his racing return this season.

2. Sophia Floersch

Sophia is a warrior. We all looked upon that fateful Macau Grand Prix incident as if it were a given that she'd never race again. She got back in the car that year. She's bounced from series to series, soaking up experience at the ripe young age of twenty. This is an F1 blog, so it feels like I should talk about her F1 chances, but support her for the story anyways. She's an inspiration to anyone overcoming overwhelming odds.

3. Logan Sargeant

Formula racing is an evil sport. One where Max Chilton can get more race drives than Stoffel Vandoorne. The common enemy behind most of these stories: money. That's possibly the only thing that Logan Sargeant lacks. Hot off a campaign that saw him lose the lead of the championship in the last race, Sargeant is nowhere to be found. Not in F2, and is currently not in F3. Sargeant is a prime example of how the sport spits out talented youngsters without the money to back him. Supporting him by flying his flag at races helps him pick up much needed sponsorship money. Sargeant is a man who deserves to be climbing up the F1 ladder.
