The all-timer F1 team draft allows the sport's best teams to go back in time and select any driver that has driven for them in the past. Teams will draft based on current quality mixed with a bit of talent history. If one driver feels more connected to one team, they will get to go first. Teams may also select from any prior iterations of their squad. This is how the teams choose to go.
Mercedes AMG Petronas
1. Michael Schumacher & Lewis Hamilton
Well, well, well. Of the two drivers currently representing their teams, Hamilton has to be the most obvious. Over 180 F1 wins between them. There could not be a more statistically powerful lineup for Mercedes to choose from. Lucky them.
McLaren F1
2. Alain Prost & Ayrton Senna
Similarly powerful, the McLaren lineup that contested multiple championships in the 1980s find their ways back into the car. Overcoming conflict would be the name of the game here, but there are certainly no issues on track.
Scuderia Ferrari
3. Niki Lauda and Nigel Mansell
Ferrari has the world to choose from. 70 years of continuous heritage could only lead to a perfect slate of the world's best drivers. Of those still around, the Austrian and British champions could offer more to the Ferrari lineup than anyone else. Grit, fire, and class underscore this cross-European duo.
Renault F1
4. Fernando Alonso & Jim Clark
From Lotus to Renault, Enstone racing has oodles of talent to choose from. Stifling their Ayrton Senna weakens them a little, but with Alonso and Clark still available, this team rivals Mercedes for highest on the list. Any era, any track, this duo is making it onto the podium at least.
Red Bull Racing
5. Sebastian Vettel & Max Verstappen
No drivers from jaguar make this list. This gives the two best drivers in Red Bull's recent history to choose from. Vettel is a no-brainer, but Verstappen's star benefits a lot from his recent success in the car. Frankly, this is a non-risky bet. He's going to reach the top. Be more worried about whether he'll overtake Vettel when he gets older.
Racing Point
6. Rubens Barrichello & Damon Hill
Racing Point gets an all-prior lineup for this draft selection. No RP diver makes this list with only a few years to select from. Barrichello and Hill is a nice little combination though. Scarily consistent with world-championship-level pace. In honesty though, this is likely one of the worst on the list.
Haas F1
7. Phil Hill & Mario Andretti
Okay, I'm giving this team some creative license. As a new entry for the 2016 F1 season, it's entirely impossible to select a team that doesn't consist of their current driver line-up. To not do disservice to all the other teams on this list, Haas will represent American interests on this list. The two best Americans ever have been the two world champions: Hill and Andretti. Both top 50 drivers in their own right, the US flies high among this list's ranking.
AlphaTauri
8. Giancarlo Fisichella & Mark Webber
This might be the most difficult team to fill up on the grid. They have the advantage of moving back to the Minardi/Jordan days to draft a Fisichella and Webber duo. From the ashes rose a phoenix, and AlphaTauri is bound to rise a few places higher as their drivers reach for the stars at Red Bull.
Alfa Romeo Racing
9. Juan Manuel Fangio & Kimi Raikkonen
A blast from the past. Alfa Selects Both a current, and long-time former driver for this selection. Their bookend entries onto the Formula One Grid allow them to span 70 years to draft in their two best-ever drivers. One, a 5-time world champion with a knack for humility. The other, an ice-cold Finn with no cares left to give.
Williams F1
10. Jacques Villeneuve & Nico Rosberg
Poor Williams. Rearing up the back here is the team with history, but not form. Their recent efforts have been poor. They would be the first ones to tell you that. But in reality they have a riches of drivers to choose from. Even with their best entrants ruled out, the margin between Alan Jones, Keke Rosberg, or his son Nico, are so fine that any of these drivers could do a good job on a given day. Given the career Nico would go on to have though, it's hard to argue he's not up there.

4. Ferrari
