5 Facts that Confirm Michael Schumacher is the GOAT

1.  Most World Titles

No need to beat around the bush here. In arguably the most significant decider of them all, Schumi has reached the ultimate prize twice more than any driver ever. And inn most sports, the conversation ends here. While this might be in jeopardy in 2021, this record puts him above every single other driver from 1950-2006. Mental.

2. Brought Ferrari back to the Promised Land

If you're a fan of F1 though, you know it's more than just wheel-nuts and telemetry. Real F1 is about passion and inspiring stories that move us all. When Michael brought the Tifosi back to the promised land in 2000, that meant much more than just your average championship. That is a story that will forever live on as long as Formula 1 wheels are spinning.

3. Crushed Every Teammate he Raced Against

Barring his return to Mercedes, Michael was an absolute teammate-killer. Barrichello, De Chesaris, Martin Brundle. Chances are, if you had Michael's machinery -- you were going to lose. He had some world-class opposition too when he raced at the front against title rivals like Hakkinen and Villneuve, but remembering that he nearly always outperformed his car shows some real effective speed.

4.  Most wins in a season (13)

Accompanying his titles crown, Michael has won the most races of anyone en route to an F1 crown in history. Of all seasons in F1's 70 year history, this was the best. No driver has had a better calendar year start to finish than one Michael Schumacher.

5. Most Wins of All Time

Rounding out his accolades, the German holds the mantle for most wins in an F1 career as well. Looking through these stats, its hard to say any driver has been statistically better than Michael in their careers. While some drivers may still be active in the hunt for titles; as far as stats go -- the GOAT race is Michael's to lose. (And he doesn't do that much)
