Coolest Brands to Replace Williams in F1

Let's get one thing clear: no one will be happy if Williams leaves the sport, now, soon, or ever. But the reality of the F1 circus is: money talks, or you're out. After putting up with the likes of Stroll, Sirotkin, and Latifi over the years just to get the car on track, its been an uphill battle to keep the lights on at Williams. For the sake of all their employees and for fun's sake too, let's look at the potential buyers for one Williams F1 team.

BMW -

The old boys of F1 circa 2008 were instrumental in building in the German influence into F1 before Vettel and Mercedes came in to claim it. While the old behemoths are unlikely to find a place in the sport due to budgetary reasons, it wouldn't be too shabby to have the old blue and white back out on track

Lamborghini -

Picture this - a red and yellow streak of lighting flying down Monza's from straight in front of a divided crowd of thousands of fans. Now that it's been mentioned, why don't we have Lamborghini in F1? Lambo is owned by the same company as Audi and Bugatti so the racing pedigree is more than there.

Ford -

Liberty media would love nothing more than to interject a *successful American team into the F1 grid. For the sake of racing's history, why not Ford. The blue and white already supplied engines and tagged their name on the back of cars in the 80s and 90s, so who's to say they're far from a return?

Monster Energy -

Okay, so Monster doesn't actually produce engines on a regular basis. However, their main rival's success in the sport -- should -- spell out a marketing triumph for both teams. Can't wait to see drivers knocking over sponsored bottles on the way to the podium in the forests of Belgium.

Jaguar -

We need a green team back on the field, and since Caterham sure aren't going to do it - let's go with Red Bull's former life in Jaguar racing. It's sort of a shame there aren't more British race teams on the grid, after all, it is the hub for the car's manufacturers as a whole. Renault vs. Jaguar would be legendary as well, let's see some lemon-lime racers at next year's F1 circuits.

Jelle's Marble Racers -

Okay, hear me out. By the time this summer is over, it is likely close to 10 million people will have watched marble racing online. As a result, we're looking at 10k potential fans right off the bat. That's huge potential revenue and sponsorship without any roundabout tactics to get there.

ART GP -

I always thought it was weird how teams and staff never jumped divisions with drivers. ART and Prema have been dominating the F2 space for a while now. However, you can't help but wonder what they could do in the world's biggest motorsports show. They've got staff, experience, and driver relationships, why not set the precedent now?

Brawn GP -

Yes, let's bring back the once champions - 1 and done wonders of the F1 world. Nothing would be more hilarious than the team returning with Vettel and Hulkenburg as a lineup, and seeing F1 director Ross Brawn beat out all the other competitors. Fair? No. Entertaining? Absolutely.
