After some searching, we've uncovered what seems to be the first ever footage of an official Formula 1 Grand Prix. It was run in Britain and won by Giuseppe Farina. An incredible 78 drivers competed in the championship, 3.5x as many as this upcoming year's championship will most likely have. There were only 5 races however, meaning there were about 15 drivers per race, most of were changed for the next race. Interesting to think this was only 64 years ago.
