Top 5 F1 Gifts for the Holiday Season

5. Lotus 72 Owner's Manual

Own a Lotus 72? Chances are you don't, but owning this book is the next best thing. The book goes through every aspect of the twice championship-winning L72. It includes cutaways, images, and engineering analysis, which sounds more painful than trying to interview Kimi Raikkonen on his night out, but we F1 fans know better.

4. BBC Formula One Records 3rd Edition

With one read of this book you could be a better commentator than everyone at NBC combined (seriously though, all they do is point out things that you can already see on your screen). Every-time someone is near a record you'd be able to mention it before anyone else and to make your own list of best F1 drivers simply by records. Now that would be awesome.

3. Pirelli Podium Cap

Maybe it's just me, but I've always wanted one of these. Nothing says ultimate fan like wearing a race winner's cap. This is also a very easy and universal gift (great for those renegade Toro Rosso fans).

2. Mclaren 50th Anniversary Apparel

Even though 2013 was a pretty unsucessful year for the Brits at McLaren, it still was the half-a-century birthday for the team. I chose this particular one for its Sennaness (Yep, just coined it) and there are no F1 fans that dislike Senna so you can't go wrong even for non-McLaren fans.

1. Formula 1: All the Races

This is literally every official Formula 1 race ever in one book. If you want F1 trivia this is the best book for the job. It also works great for trying to lure friends into the sport. Even though it doesn't have 2013 (which people will probably remember pretty well anyways) it would allow one to journey through all 63 years of Formula 1 history. Best. Gift. Ever.
