Top 4 Drivers of the Abu Dahbi Grand Prix

4. Paul Di Resta

As a team that hadn't scored points for several races, Force India needed a plan to defend against the challenging Sauber, their bitter rivals. So, since the car wasn't up to par, they went for the tire conservation game. It worked spectacularly for them today (and for Pirelli who always predict one-stop races, and were actually right for once). Di Resta picked up 8 points and a 6th place finish simply by utilizing every bit of rubber he had available to him. He even finished ahead of Hamilton, who started 8 positions ahead. 20 laps on softs? No problem for Di Resta.

3. Mark Webber

The best part of Webber's performance today was definitely his tenacity. As someone who has his future lined up outside of Formula 1 for next season, his motivation is next to none, especially since the team has betrayed him so many times in the past. Classy attitude and a strong drive to back it up, awesome job Mark.

2. Nico Rosberg

At the beginning of this season, many of us had doubts about the skill of Nico Rosberg matched against the World Champion Lewis Hamilton in a car we didn't even think would get anywhere near 2nd in the championship, but he rose to the occasion. Flash forward to today, he would have beaten Webber if not for being held up by Di Resta, and crushed Hamilton by comparison (sorry I'm being a bit mean to Hamilton today, but it's all just to prove why these guys should be on this list). His start was also spectacular and his split-second decision to go on the outside instead of the inside payed off immensely in the end.

1. Sebastian Vettel

Usually it's terrible when Vettel wins like this, but today, I was actually happy for him. Maybe it was because I was watching it next to a very passionate German companion of mine, but the fact that he won by half a minute was spectacular to watch. See, the reason people dislike Vettel more than Schumacher is probably down to the fact that Schumacher's wins and poles were more of spectacle, while Vettel just takes off and doesn't even need to fend off any challengers. However today, he definitely earned this #1 spot today.
