Rookie Reports-Round 2

Jules Bianchi: 9

Currently sitting in 7th in the ForeverF1 World Drivers Championship, Jules has been the best of the back this year. He was seriously unfortunate in Monaco as Marussia let him down on multiple occasions. First his engine failed and then his brakes failed plus being taken out by the reminents of Chilton and Maldonado's accident. That's especially not good because unfortunately, he might have to incur a grid drop for an extra engine. However other than that he has consistently out-qualified and outraced both Caterhams and his teammate Chilton. Ferrari here he comes!

Valterri Bottas 7.5

After a brilliant qualifying in Canada, he dropped like a stone. He reminds me of what Maldonado was like last year, qualifying high up and not being able to maintain it. Of course, it was just one race, but it's not like Maldo has done anything close. I commend him for trying his hardest when Maldo is clearly not, and the car being as bad as it is. Hopefully we can see more performances like Canada and truly find out how good this new Finn is.

Max Chilton: 6

Better than before, but not that good. He is always behind Bianchi, but is beginning to be able to fend off the Caterhams. He did well in Monaco to beat vdG to a 14th place finish in Monaco, which put him right behind Bianchi in the championship. I gave him a six because the team's support is with Bianchi (for a good reason) and he is growing to be better. I just wish TV channels would show more of the backmarkers sometimes so we can see their driving or find out their personalities.
