Top Four Drivers of the Canadian Grand Prix

4. Fernando Alonso

A classic drive from the Spaniard today. He overtook closely matched cars and drivers with ease. There is not much more he could have done. He also managed to control the car after being hit. It was a great drive.

3. Jean-Eric Vergne

Toro Rosso's best finish in a year. That pretty much sums up why he's 3rd today. He beat Ricciardo's best, and for me, is now in front for the Red Bull seat should Raikkonen turn it down. It is very important for him to perform this well because the opportunity for a Red Bull seat doesn't come around often. 8 points and a finish ahead of both Lotuses, a Ferrari and his teammate. Spectacular job.

2. Sebastian Vettel

Oh no, it's 2011 all over again. I have nothing against him, he is no doubt one of the best drivers in history. However, it is extremely boring to watch. Anyways, he did amazingly except for two slip-ups (hitting the wall and slipping off the line). He won by over 15 seconds, something that is almost impossible for any other driver. Also, this made up for his disgraceful mistake in 2011 at Canada. Stellar performance.

1. Paul Di Resta

Before you close the tab, just hear me out. He went 57 laps on his tires. 57 laps. All of the front-runners except Lotus have complained about the poor quality of the tires and Di Resta completely blows them out of the water by doing 57 laps on medium tires. Wow, just wow. He also gained 10 positions by utilizing his skills. Wonderful stuff.
