Remember When?: 1984 Brazilian Grand Prix

Brazil was the first race of the 1984 season, the final of three championship seasons won by Niki Lauda. More importantly, however, it was the first race of Ayrton Senna. He drove for Toleman Group Motorsport and finished in 9th, pretty spectacular. Especially considering that it was at around the height of the great drivers. Lauda, Prost, Mansell, Rosberg (Keke), Patrese, Berger, Piquet, Arnoux, and Cheever. The Brazilian Grand Prix yeilded an Elio de Angelis pole, and a Prost win and fastest lap. Mclaren won 12 out of 16 that season.
