Monaco Grand Prix-Aura and Significance

The Monaco Grand Prix is more often than not, quoted as the most exiting and most publicized event on the Formula One calendar. It is definitely a summary of what Formula One is all about. The richest, the most dangerous, the best-looking, the closest. A waterside view in the richest country in the world with barriers less than a foot away. It allows every driver in the field to show their class because Monaco is a track where it's not about how fast your car can go, it's about how fast you as the driver can go. Schumacher got the pole last year, his final showing of the fire he used to win his 7 championships.  This year, the Mercedes' are the favorite for pole, which means they might just win it.

Anyways, it is a generally important race for all the teams up and down the grid. The teams that the back are trying to snag a point or two because the playing is leveled so they gain get closer to the front and also pick up places when cars higher up the field crash. Midfield teams will be looking to grab a podium when frontal teams crash. Finally, the frontal teams will be looking to win and receive a trophy from royalty.

My Prediction: Hamilton
Expert's pick: Rosberg
