Things to Look Out for in Bahrain

Mechanical failure: This is the most plausible and would have the most effect of all the unknowns. It happened to Hamilton numerous times last year, where he would qualify on pole by far, and then break his gearbox. If not, it could end up like China 2012, where he leads from the beginning and wins without incident.

Vettel: He's not actually as slow as some have been hinting at. He did qualify second, so he has a major shot at winning the race. The only thing that could hold him back is his tires. He said that he really pushed, which means he probably messed up his tires quite a lot.

Ferrari: Return of the Empire. Ferrari have come back to form and are going to occupy row 2 for the race. Watch Alonso in particular, he could pull this one out of the bag easily.

Force India: By far the biggest surprise of qualifying, Force India could grab a podium. Their Achilles Heel would be the drivers fighting. Sutil has everything to prove and Di Resta desperately needs an outstanding season this year. In short, they could be each others' worst nightmare.
