Jules Bianchi: 9.5/10: Starting with the best, Bianchi has been stellar this year. Except for the last race, he's beaten basically everyone within his range. Ever flirting with passing Bottas. Man, who ever thought Marussia would be battling with one of the most successful Formula One teams in history. Kudos to them on getting him a great car, and to him for driving it exceptionally well. My prediction for him is that Marussia is going to fall below the pace of Caterham, and Bianchi will have to fight to maintain his current average position. He should still come out on top, however he might make less headlines because people's expectations will be higher. The most important race coming up for him will be Monaco because if he's ahead of the Caterhams he can gain a large amount of positions due to other cars crashing. The last thing that has impressed is his goal of finishing every race. It's realistic, important, and shows maturity. By the way, it's not 10/10 because he wasn't that great in Bahrain.
Valtteri Bottas: 7.5/10: He's currently ahead of his much more experienced teammate Pastor Maldonado, which is a feat in and of itself. Beyond that, he's really just been great at putting his head down and racing to the best of his ability. While Maldonado was struggling and seemed to be more focused on complaining than driving, he was able to just try his hardest to save the team. The only reason his rating isn't higher is because he hasn't had a true shining moment yet, but I feel like it could happen soon.
Max Chilton: 6/10: While his season started out rather lascklusterly (not actually a word), he has shown improvement in each race. in China, he finished in the same lap as Bianchi after failing to do so in the first two races. In Bahrain, he finished below 20 seconds behind Bianchi, and was even ahead of him for a portion of the race. There's nothing better for an F1 driver than improvement when driving for a team like Marussia, so good job Mr. Chilton.
