Follow the Webber-Where Should He Go for 2013?

It was no secret that after Vettel came to Red Bull in 2009 and won the championship in 2010, that Webber was not going to win the championship at Red Bull. The team order fiasco in Malaysia just confirmed that. Since Webber has apparently just woken up to that fact, he knows he has to move. However, it seems like there is no space for him on the F1 grid. Ferrari might take him, and even if he does make it, it will be the same situation as Red Bull. Multi 12 almost every race. Mclaren wouldn't take him, Mercedes wouldn't take him. Sauber isn't fast enough to win the championship. Neither is Force India, and he would barely score points at most other teams below that. That brings me to the conclusion that it's time for Webber to leave F1. Not to mention the fact that he's the oldest man on the grid.

It seems like Le Mans or V8 would be a better place for him (skip to the underline for just F1 writing). Le Mans has a ton of drivers, and the Toyota team is on the rise and is hungry for publicity. V8 has different endurance races that require second drivers that F1 drivers have occupied in the past.

Webber marks what seems to be a new trend in F1, where one of/the oldest driver leaves. The next in line is Raikkonen at 33, who might retire if this year goes badly, however more likely is the 31-year-old Massa. This means that the window for F1 drivers is getting ever smaller, Alonso is basically at the end of his prime, at 31, which seems to be the new cut-off. Vettel started to be great at about 20, when he won his first race. So Webber has proved now that unless you are Michael Schumacher of Rubens Barichello, you will not be good past 31.
