The Mark of Ayrton Senna

March 21st 2013. On this day Ayrton Senna de Silva would have turned 53 years old. As a driver, he was a legend. The king of Monaco and a triple world champion. He raced with Prost, Schumacher, Mansell, Piquet, and many more Formula 1 greats. As a man, he had a personality as memorable as Kimi. He kept to himself a lot in the pit lane, but outside the track, he had a great sense of humor. (Click here to see his birthday prank) He was a strong believer in God, and felt that he was guided by God. That it was his destiny to win, and it was. 

Then, unfortunately, while driving for Williams in a car that was extremely below par in both pace and grip, he crashed. A little while later, he passed away. Ayrton Senna was the last F1 driver to die on the track. He was respected by all the drivers, and his funeral was a spectacle, one of the few events where the whole world was watching. (His funeral) His legacy will continue on forever as one of the greatest car driver in history.
