First Look: Red Bull

So here we are, the favorite for the championship, the RB9. The brainchild of master aerodynamist Adrian Newey and team leader Christian Horner. The car itself is only a bit different than last year, but as they say, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. The main changes include the double stepped nose, the smaller sidepods, and the more defined air intake for the engine. The curves near the driver where the HANS device fits in is similar to the one on the Mercedes. That makes sense because it looks like it would send more air to the rear wing. Something Ferrari seemed to have looked over... The RB9 will be a strong competitor in 2013, but it won't be a 2011 scenario, and it could end even closer than in 2012.
