4 Best Drivers from the Malaysian Grand Prix

4. Jenson Button

Similar to Sutil in Australia, Button was able to take his less than  impressive car to the top for at least a little while. His tire conserving ability is uncanny and is probably the best on the field. Supposedly, the reason for this is his very by the book driving style. It puts the least amount of strain of the tires, and he's still just as fast. He didn't finish the race, but even when his wheel wasn't on, he was able to sense it and stop so that he could have continued.

3. Valtteri Bottas

It's no doubt, at this point, that Williams do not have a great car. Maldonado, a race winner with the team even went as far as to deem it as "undrivable". It almost seems as if Maldonado took himself out on purpose. Anyways, back to Bottas. He took the "undrivable" car and well... drove it! He ended in P11, but he was able to shake off the Marussia of Bianchi and JEV to get there. It seems like he really wants to move up, whereas Maldonado seems to not want anything to do with Williams this year.

2. Sebastian Vettel

He won the race even though he wasn't allowed to. A weird thing to hear of in F1, but it did happen. Beyond that, he did win fairly (according to some), overtook and battled cleanly with his teammate, and was the first to change on to slicks. Overall a solid race and a great win.

1. Nico Rosberg

Even though his race ended behind Hamilton, every other part of it was spectacular. He was the fastest man on track for at least a quarter of the race. Just doing that in a Merc would have put him on this list. However, he took the fight to Red Bulls, even better. Even more, he was quicker than his world champion teammate. Plus, he had the self-control (unlike Vettel) to let his teammate go, and Hamilton was modest about it later, kudos to both of them.
