While it is true that it does have a double stepped nose, the addition of the purple makes this car look majestic. The packaging in the back is also spectacular and provides a spectacular end to the lines of the car.
2. CTO3
While it won't be winning any drivers or constructors championships, it deserves a solid podium spot for looks. Again, it has the stepped nose, but the long end and the brighter paint really does make it look fantastic. If this competition was just about the paint job, Caterham would definitely take the cake.
1. F138
And the winner is...the F138! Ferrari have genuinely outdone themselves with this car. The first obvious advantage is the lack of the stepped nose, however the main aspect I prefer about this car is the way Ferrari used other colors to highlight the Ferrari red. The black on the underside and the white help highlight the beauty of the car. So that's why it gets my vote for best looking car of 2013.
Honorable Mentions
These cars both look great in their own right, but were a little too similar to last year and featured some not so great parts like the nose on the Lotus or the sidepods on the Mclaren. Kudos to them, but they didn't make the list.
