Qualifying 2013

Due to the absence of the bankrupt HRT, qualifying has been modified appropriately to keep Q3 as 10 cars.  6 are eliminated in Q1, and 6 in Q2 as opposed to seven. This changes a lot, because if the backmarker teams (Caterham and Marussia) take their usual position of not breaking out of Q1, that leaves 2 vacant spots as opposed to 1. This could just mean bad things for Toro Rosso, however, if their pace improves, then it becomes a real strategy game. Teams have to decide whether or not options are necessary, even from the start. This will most likely mean that teams like Force India, Williams, and possibly Sauber might fall victim to having to use the softer tire, and then struggling in the later qualifying sessions. The team that will probably have the biggest difficulty is F.I (Force India) because last year, they had a pattern of just squeaking into Q2 on prime tires. Of course that could just be because they weren't going flat-out, but still, just a side note. Then, there's Q2, which will also eliminate more. So this year, it seems like it's gotten harder for the midfield...
