First Look: Lotus

Last year, Lous was a shocker team, coming from struggling for points and firing a driver mid-season to gaining a world champion driver and winning a race. However, it only gets harder from here, because now they're entering the top three, and that means fighting with the likes of Ferrari, Mclaren, and Red Bull. This year is probably not the year for them, considering Mercedes is creeping ever closer this year could just means protecting their assets, and finding out whether or not they're going to keep Grosjean.

But I digress. The Lotus has the most interesting parts at both edges of the car. The front wing is sloped a lot more than the other cars, and the nose is rather similar to last year, but has less of a slope. The passive DRS is the part in the back, and it doesn't seem like that is a make or break part because F1 is mainly about corners. Finally, the Coanda is their main claim to fame, and will definitely win them at the very least some podiums.
